Having been founded on Dec '65, NorthStar Airways (previously Eastern Jetways) is set to start full service on Feb 1st '66 across 5 routes (New York - Los Angeles - Mexico City - Johannesburg - Singapore) The new long haul operator is set to compete with already existing operators by offering more comfortable cabins for less!!
Initially flights to: Los Angeles - Mexico City - Johannesburg - Singapore will be served three times a week (Mon - Wed -Fri) however by ther summer '66 season the airline should provide full daily service.
Their fleet consists of 5 707's (4 -120B / 1-320B) and the airline plans to further grow this to 20 aircraft by Autumn '66.
