Something exciting coming up?

Oh yes, all new page coming up. I will open the "official" preview with proper news later on once the page has some actual functions.
But here what I posted to Discord earlier:
FYI: Been working on the v.2.0 Scheduling page over the last week+, and the first preview version will be hopefully usable next week.
It is a 100% new page technically, using the latest tech we have in our new site, making the page much more lightweight and thus faster.
Visually there are only minor changes, but overall "everything" will be much nicer. 😆
And at the first iteration the main features will be the same as currently, but I will see if "native 7-day scheduling" is possible (haven't yet fully planned that but technically it is possible after the previous big v.1.4 update to routes system), with other new features also planned. 😉
The new page will be available for public testing, with the old page usable alongside too.
It is a fundamental change to the logic. Basically the same single flight can be assigned to different planes (within the same fleet), instead of creating different flights for each day. So you edit only one route etc.
(originally the system was not designed for this 7-day stuff but since people started using it, the previous v.1.4 made changes with this update in mind)

As mentioned earlier this is a huge technical improvement to the old page, and should be a lot faster. For a large airline a scheduling page load may involve of even 2 MB data transfer per page load, while this new system uses clever templating and page load size is only 10% of the old one. (one test airline had 2.3 mb of data in old page (very poor) and only ~200 kB for the new page!)

The BETA scheduling page is available for testing. I will be working with this more later on, but if you wanna fiddle around with the search/filters and marvel the speed of the new page, there is now a direct link available to it in the main navigation. The "official" testing will start later since there is no actual scheduling functionality yet.
**Work in Progress**
- Display of schedules, searching, filtering, pagination and all related to showing the schedules should work already. Try it out!
- Page is not yet mobile compatible.
- Display of tooltips over flights and aircraft is not yet available.
- Some of the flight labels are too large.
- Status/Warnings of the aircraft is not yet shown.
- There are no functions/actions yet for Scheduling ( = cannot add/remove flights etc.).
Feedback and bug reports welcome through forums and Discord!
The mobile-compatible view of the new scheduling page is now ready to test.

It makes sorting on the scheduling a little confusing. For example, old aircraft with MSN #300 comes after newly delivered ones with #s in 1000s
