Ive set most of my turns where the risk of a late departure is less than 1%. My overall A+15 OTP is 96.6%.
Does anyone think I am too conservative. I have 727s taking 75 minutes to turn.
I ask because I would like to replace my 727s with 757s which have a longer turn time. But if I make the 757s turn long enough that A+15 risk is only 1%, I will mess up my hub (slots, maintaining frequency etc)
Opinions?
I am currently using the ~1% turn times, but in my experience ~10% works OK.
I've used anything from 5% to 10% turns with no real problems. At least not much different than ~1% turn. It's just a matter of a "dice roll," really. Better chance for on-time departure with the ~1%, but anything less than 10% is not much of a drop from what I've seen.
