Sorry, poor poll. You've got to give the options that maybe WON'T be popular, such as "No it's fine as it is" or "I want LONGER days" or "Give me 5 minute days - I can take it!!". If there are options that get no votes then THAT is valid information too.
I do agree with you though - I just came from a speed world (15 minute I think) to an epic length game and it is SLOOOOOOW...

Why is it fine?
Many of us work and it would make it almost impossible to compete if the days were shorter, giving full time stay home players a distinctive advantage.
If you want shorter game time days, then request this as an additional Gameworld instead of replacing a Gameworld that suits many time-poor players.
I generally work 3 12 hour shifts with the option to come in for more. I used to have a nice easy commute but I was one of the people that depended on that bridge in Baltimore that is no more so since then I mostly just don't sleep during my regular work week. (figuratively) Getting back into this game after a years long hiatus has been messy enough the last few weeks. If you want a reason to check in hourly, my advice is join every single game world. I'm in the four main ones since I missed this game so much but now it often consumes what little free time I have after my regular shifts, by which I mean I'm not sleeping enough to manage my imaginary business. Already lost one success to making a minor mistake then not logging in for two days... I'm never trying to win though so perhaps I don't care beyond the fact that I lost the effort put into the initial success.

Wow, fair enough - but that game would last over two years! You really wouldn't get bored?
I don't think so.
With 25/30 min day I have to be constantly on the game to plan my next move.
With 1h/day give more time to relax.
