Apologies if this is repeated elswhere, but the sheduling page is essentially unusable due to the tooltips response time. Is ther a way to reduce the sensitivity?
I second that. I was just too lazy to make a bug report as it isn't really a 'bug' as such. If the timings were like on the old version, that would be perfect.
Could you clarify a bit what's the issue, and how it should be improved.

I think the issue is that the tool tips overlap the action buttons at the right of the grid.
Yeah, it's really hard to describe, but if you actually try to use the scheduling screen in anger Sami, it's just not how it was. There are pop-ups when you don't expect them and sometimes they don't come up when you think they should. If you just drag your moue quickly around that screen without stopping, nothing should pop up (old system) but you leave a trail of boxes behind you and they always seem to be in the way. By the time you get the mouse where you intended, there is often a box in the way. It's just a lot more fiddly and frustrating than it used to be - sorry I can't explain it better. It's probably a very simple matter of a timing parameter being a bit 'off' (assuming the method being used in the background is the same as before).
Or maybe the screen area that triggers the tooltip is too large, I get them coming up when using the filter boxes on the left.
it forces us to use the mouse slowly and carefully. As soon as we unfortunatelt pass over a blue rectangle that is not the one we want, it's very hard to access the tooltip of the rectangle we want.
It's likely a very minor adjustment to make, but that requires fine tuning. That feature was definitively near-perfect on the old interface. Ideally, the tooltip would appear when stopping above a blue rectangle, not when we pass above one to reach another one. I fear the perfect etup is tricky to find.
Definitely agree that the timing was perfect on the older version, it was very easy to navigate a very busy page. All required information available when needed, but not until deliberately sought using the mouse. As others have commented, it's likely a simple enough fix, but the frustration level is inversely proportional to the likely size of the problem!
I've played with it some more and the problem seems to be that the timer (however that works) that judges how long you have hovered over a box doesn't seem to reset as you move the mouse around the screen. As others have said, surely a tooltip should ONLY appear when you hovver over a single are for (however long - a quarter of a second?) IT was indeed perfect before, which is why people are getting frustrated. And I'm SO glad it isn't just me!
Will highly agree. Seems like a bit of latency and the display timeout that cause the issue, specifically on scheduling page
weirdly seems better this morning, as it was major league annoying before.

I've never seen this problem but I'm in the US, not sure where everyone else might be.
Sorry to be a pain, but it's no better for me! Totally frustrating to do ANY scheduling.

It is not related to internet connectivity or speed. It is a static JS timeout that works on your browser, so location is not a factor to account here.

Yes, I wholly agree that it is a very frustrating issue. So many unintended clicks that lead to removing routes or having to make the mouse pointer carefully take a path through empty parts of the page to get to the tool tip you actually needed.
Tooltip needs to disappear once you move the pointer away!
This is incredibly irritating, particularly if trying to make adjustments to 7 day schedules.
It shouldn't be assessed as low priority - it causes errors.
I'm glad this keeps getting bumped. It's VERY annoying still and would be a simple, easy fix.
I agree that something has changed after the new layout.
It seems to be worst when trying to move the mouse to the four buttons on the right.
The popups are really aggresive and annoying.
Maybe change the popups to onClick instead of mouseover - it would be so much better.

I parroted my observation of this from the beta on how I don't think it's actually lag, but tooltips covering buttons when not expected ;D
Sami fixed it and it is much better now - thank you very much :-)
