Title: Will PAX choose different days for flights if there is no demand on preferred da
Post by: Vor7X on January 02, 2024, 10:18:33 PM
Hi everybody,

in real life, if I want to book HAM-HER on a Monday and no airline is offering this route on Monday, I will have to adjust my plans and book the connection on let's say Tuesday.
Is AWS working the same way? For example if I see a daily demand of 100 to 130 people on each of the 7 weekdays on HAM-HER in AWS, and I am the only airline offering this trip on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, will people change their demand and switch from Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun and book my flights on Tu, Thu and Sat?
In this case, would I benefit from putting a 180pax plane on this trip instead of a 120 pax plane?

Or is AWS static and does not change paxe behaviour according to seat supply on their demanded trip?

static - if they don't fly that day they don't fly. It would certainly add to the game if weekly flights scooped up passengers on days without, such as happens to many winter Mediterannean destinations for example. CBD and connecting pax would be good features as well.....!
