I'm trying to understand when a production line will close, and have some generic questions. The online manual says this
"Each aircraft model has information about production start and end dates in the master database. These are the real dates of the real aircraft model. For simulation purposes these dates are randomized for each game world with a maximum variation of +/- 1,5 years for each model. This game feature makes the simulation more unpredictable as players cannot know when "their favorite" aircraft model is launched."
Does the production line really close on the date in the master database?
Is there anyway to find these dates?
I know the +/- 1.5 years applies to launch, does it also apply to the end date?
Is it still true that the line closes 30 years after launch or was this an old wives tale?
I know players can resurrect a closing but not yet closed line by placing orders, but are they able to keep it open past the date in the master database by continually adding orders?
For how long? Indefinitely?
Perhaps this section of the manual could be added to...

There are two types of end dates for a/c production in the master database:
a) no ending date known ( = a modern model like A320)
b) real-life ending date known ( = such as B737-100) - these dates are randomized
For a) the end date is fully dynamic and depends on player actions, and for b) also the same applies to a) but also a forceful closure of the line happens at +30 yrs after it ended in the real life (not really ever happening, but just a small check to keep the data somewhat realistic).
In short: The a/c system for model production ending is fully dynamic and depends on players' actions.
