Title: E190F / E195F
Post by: Brovine on September 06, 2023, 10:17:32 PM
As discussed on Discord - Embraer is currently working on a passenger-to-freighter conversion for the E190 and E195. First ten E190F have been ordered by a lessor (Nordic Aviation Capital), apparently to be operated by Astral Aviation based in Nairobi.

Basic payload/volume info is available on Embraer's site here: https://www.embraercommercialaviation.com/commercial-jets/e190f-e195f-freighter
Their news article also has payload numbers: https://embraer.com/global/en/news/?slug=1206997-embraer-takes-aim-at-air-freight-market-launches-e190f-and-e195f-passenger-to-freight-conversions

This separate news article has the same information gathered together: https://www.sps-aviation.com/story/?id=3098&h=Embraer-Introduces-E190F-and-E195F-Freighter-Aircraft

It looks like it's just an internal conversion plus the cargo door, so I assume the standard performance from the passenger version remains the same. Not sure how much use it will get either in reality or in game, but it exists!

Any further data on this, for example the a/c's operational weights?

Still not much info, but the conversion is moving along with the first flight completed.

Did the Ejet freighter get added to the game?

@Sami did you ever get the needed info for the conversions? Here is the FAA TCDS for the 190/195F.

https://drs.faa.gov/browse/excelExternalWindow/DRSDOCID127506920520241127153323.0001

The E190F is listed under the ERJ190-100 IGW. The 195F has not been certified yet, but looks to use 195AR weights like the 190 followed.
