Title: REFUELING TECH STOPS
Post by: IPT63 on April 12, 2023, 04:41:59 PM
Hi all
I have added a fuel stop in for my long haul route and I get the message saying that the aircraft cant fly this distance
not sure what I have done wrong
Any help please.
Route is Glasgow to Sydney with a fuel stop in India.
Aircraft is a 380 800 range 8200.

Many Thanks
Ian

Remember fuelstop on the return route.  :)

GLASGOW ALSO HAS A RELATIVELY SHORT RUNWAY WHICH CAN MAKE THINGS INTERESTING.

I'm with schro - guessing it's probably down to the fact the A380 requires 3 380 m runway length for MTOW flights and GLA has a runway only 2 658 m long - only about 75% that required of the A380 if you want to get the max out it's pax and fuel loads.
