I started my first game and chose dublin as my hq.. Will ireland be counted as eu in the future so i can move make a hub at some other airport? Should i just restart the game? I have 14b377 with 7 more coming but im really running out of options where to fly already
It will be part of the EU, but the basing options in other EU countries won't be available until the late 90s.
So im basically out of things to do for the next 4 decades?
Pick some achievements to focus on and go for it.
Optimize fleet, schedules, buy and sell/lease planes, etc...
There are lots of destinations from Dublin yet untapped, plenty to do.
Many routes to US, Middle-East, North Africa are waiting for more competition.
Yeah, demand in 1955 is pretty low across the board. Just be patient, and demand will increase overtime, creating new opportunities.
In the mean time, take the time to lean your company, make it efficient and profitable. Start planning for the fleets of the future, the transitions, and how the used market behaves in that particular game world. You might get to buy very (very) cheap types that will make you extremely profitable in the mid term.
