Title: Tahiti Start in the 1950s: Is it possible?
Post by: duscatu on November 20, 2022, 06:16:35 PM
As a new game world starts in a few days, I would like to try Tahiti (PPT). I don't have much time IRL and know how difficult (mostly ULH) and slow (no demand) life can be on the islands :)

PPT opened in 1960 in real life and thus I believe this airport is not active as the game starts in the 1950s.

1. If I base somewhere else in French Polynesia do I get transferred over to PPT when it opens? If so where should I start?

2. If the airport is not available, do I just wait until 1960 so it opens? Does anyone know from another long game world when it opens?

3. Finally: if not PPT, what other French territories/islands can I base in from where I can open new bases in other French territories? What are traffic levels like?

How about Caribbean French... like PTP or FDF  or  Reunion ?
best regards
Jack

Yes, it's been a while  ;D

I might try one of the other overseas French territories. Or Iceland. Or something African. Something small that doesn't require hours each day, yet involving somehow...

I think I'll start in Bermuda. 9000 inhabitants are waiting for the connection to the world. I'm also curious how many planes disappear in the triangle.
