I just had an idea about something I've written about before. Slot shopping and 7 day schedules. Always a PITA...
Could we perhaps have an option in the settings to automatically buy slots when a route is assigned to an aircraft?
Perhaps in combination with a default setting to not buy slots when creating a route.

Yes please,I'd love this! I often am.bulding 5 or 6 7day schedules at a time. Build one, eg 767f, add two planes tonite to start building ri, then do more 7 day schedules, eg a321 west coast,etc. So i don't buy slots as theyd expire before I add more planes to the 7 day schedules 6 game months down the line.
It's a huge pita to add a plane them buy to 10 or so slots needed..plan b for this would be on the schedule screen where you can hover right click over a plane is to add "buy necessary slots".
To-do: Add feature
