Is there a way in the game to operate like US airlines do, such as flying from JFK-MCO then MCO-ATL and so on?
Airwaysim only supports the hub-and-spoke system. That is, all the aircraft's flights start and end at their respective bases.
So A being your base, and B and C different destinations, you can only do A-B-A, and then A-C-A. And so on and so forth...
In the good old times you could do A-B-C-D-C-B-A.
It would be nice to have that back again ;D

NO MORE MAGIC CARPET!
LOL - I know.
Hovewer I belive that the bug with F/C only configs are long gone (correct me if wrong)
And it should only be allowed inside base area so you could not do a LHR-JFK-CDG-JFK-LHR but only LHR-MAN-CDG-MAN-LHR.
still. It gives a guy at LHR a monstrous advantage in long games. I'd just have 747/A330/777s only.
As it is now its a monstrous advantage to be based at LHR because no one can touch you.
If we could do MAN-LHR-CDG-LHR-MAN then you could benefit even if you choose to operate a small airline from a domestic uk airport.
It would also add a complexity layer (= more gameplay) because you could do more advanced routing.
I believe that A-B-C-B-A failed because you could extend legs outside your base area.
If we ever could get it back, it should only be possible to extend from within the area where you are allowed to open bases.

I remember Magic Carpet's route map. It was just an orange screen.

Provided you survive attacks from a dozen or two of airlines that want to be based in LHR as well.
The ones who manage so, they deserve that untouchability, it didn't come cheap.
