Hi Sami,
I found performance data on the TU-334 from archived tupolev.ru website:
https://web.archive.org/web/20070208061101/http://www.tupolev.ru/English/Show.asp?SectionID=111
The TU-334-100 has considerable more range than given in AWS.
according to AWS in game performance: Range with 84 pax = 1180nm / 2185km
according to Tupolev data (attached): Range with 102 pax = 1700nm / 3150km
Tupolev data also show fuel consumption as:
s.f.c.of engine kg/kgf*hour (max cruising mode. Í=11, Ì=0,75) to be 0.64 - whatever that is in AWS values (kg/hr)
Hold space is given as 16.2m3 compared to AWS 6.2m3 - Typo ?
Max pax capacity is stated as 102 @ 82cm pitch (32in) which is really comfortable standard seating. AWS takes this figure as HD max seating and then removes THREE rows to offer 84Y as standard which grossly undermines the type. The TU-334 has a clean uninterrupted cabin (no over-wing exits). So 84Y would translate into a 38in seat pitch which is C class territory, Remember this never entered production so actual max hd capacity is probably higher (if we add one 6 seat row = 108Y @ 30in)
There is a wealth of information on this site which goes into every detail of its development:
https://multfishki.ru/en/tu-334-blizhnemagistralnyi-passazhirskii-samolet-sleduet-li.html
There is also sufficient info for AWS to add the TU-334-200 version with a longer fuselage.
I know this has no priority but if it could be amended one day it'll be cool.
Thanks!
Mike
I have actually the flight manuals of Tu-334. But it's in Russian, and will need to utilize some translation services soon again for these.
