Title: Not carrying pax on one leg?
Post by: john2020 on April 04, 2021, 09:07:26 PM
Hi,

Just wondering if anybody has found some routes randomly stop carrying pax on one sector? It isn't that they're empty, there's no data about pax numbers and no revenue?

Could be many things.
- Maybe the route is payload limited one way (due to wind and you never noticed before)
- If you recently switched out the planes, perhaps you selected a different payload/range configuration that has limits?
- Maintenance. The game doesn't cancel both sectors after a B check. So if A-B is during the check and B-A isn't, the plane is teleported to B and still able to fly one sector
I believe heavy maintenance planes return on 1200 the day they are finished and start flying using the same "logic"

Though more details could help figure out the issue

If you're talking about how it shows data for only one leg on the "manage routes" page, I was also confused at first. I'm still not totally confident but I think this happens when the return flight has been cancelled due to some reason or the other. The tighter your schedules... the more you see this happen... Thats what I have come to believe. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm a relatively New Player.

Is the return flight at an obnoxious time of day for the length of flight?    Such as a 2 hour flight departing at 1st and arriving at 3?   If so.... Its all about supply and demand.  Try lowering your fares for just that leg.
