Title: Changes to Used Aircraft For Sale Format
Post by: Air Australia on December 28, 2020, 03:16:46 AM
Although pleased to see aircraft range and engine type added it is disappointing not to see the aircraft flight time as this is how I selected potential aircraft purchases. I do not need to know who is selling the aircraft and perhaps this column could be replaced by aircraft flight time.

Still waiting to see aircraft seat configuration maps which were first discussed over 12 months ago. Any progress?

Still a great game to play.

FYI - flight time does not impact the performance of aircraft in any way - so while technically that may be a relevant metric, the simulation treats a 16 year old frame with 20,000 cycles the same as a 16 year old frame that has 1,000 cycles (subject to the relevant MX checks of course)

I am sad the age disappeared. While range is certainly important, age is too. Not sure I need the engine type.

Hopefully it was just a typo in the changelog. Age is still a column on the UM currently

Landings and flight time disappeared, both are entirely irrelevant and change nothing. Age is still there, which is relevant. I don't need the engine type, but the column space is there and there is the occasional model where it might be useful.

I would like to see time until D-check. The yellow/red isn't useful if for example you want an aircraft with at least 4 years until D-check.

I like the added engine type column. I like to keep my engines in the same family as mych as possible and it was annoying to do with the old format.
