Title: Fees for Confirming a Route
Post by: gsa2k on May 09, 2020, 09:00:14 PM
Hello folks, I was wondering when you get charged for a route. Do you get charged for "Confirming" a route or once you set the departure times and reserve airport slots and then hit "Confirm" at the bottom of the page? If the latter, then I assume if you go back and edit the departure times for a route you have already confirmed then you would get charged again, correct?

Thank you.

Slots are bought when you create the route (click save/confirm at the route editor). There are no other expenses for creating a route.

If you go back and edit the route, say change the departure time from 1155 to 1145, you'll see that the slot costs are zero, because you already paid for the 11xx slot. but if you go back and change it from 1155 to 1205, you'll see the slot costs are non-zero, because to make that change, you have to buy a 12xx slot.
