Title: passenger load factor - affected by seat blocking? seat config?
Post by: groundbum2 on May 08, 2020, 09:16:44 AM
I'm looking at my PLF and see it's calculated by revenue passenger km / available passenger km.

Question - is available passenger km based on how many seats are on the aircraft, or by how many seats I make available via the blocking function at the bottom of the manage route screen.

For a bonus point, is ASK calculated off my actual aircraft seating plan (perhaps a 767 with 120 luxury seats) or the nominal seats in the global aircraft database?

I could mess with this a bit but I have 800 aircraft so there's no chance of my spotting a change to the stats based on changing a few routes and aircraft!

ASK is based on actual offered capacity. (takes into account seat config, payload restrictions and possible manual seat blockings)
