Title: Flying dayly on routes that take more than a day to fly
Post by: Tijnster on July 14, 2019, 12:25:19 PM
Hi,

I ran into something weird in GW1. One of my competitors at EHAM flies daily form EHAM to RJOO, via USNN, using a DC6. Osaka is 4973NM from Amsterdam and their is one flightnumber scheduled with flights on a daily basis.

How can a plane fly daily to a destination and back again that takes more than 1 day to return from?

I really don't get this.. ?

Martijn

Routes that fly between the same airports but on different days can use the same flight number, and if they leave at the exact same time and use the same kind of plane, they show up in the route planner on a single row like that.

Also, if you haven't read Gazzz's scheduling tutorial yet, which Schro posted the link to, I highly recommend it.

Witch craft mate :D

Just because the flightnumber is the same doesn't mean it has to fly the same airplane :)

Check the link Schro sent. It's really helpful.

Good luck on the rebound.
