When I get delays or cancellations due to lack of staff what staff group number of employees should I increase? Pilots, mechanics, attendants?
Well it depends. Do you have too few staff employed in some group?
But even with 100% staff levels there is always a small chance for staff related delays.
Thanks Sami, so what you are saying is that even if I employ 150% staff in every group I'll still have delays/cancellation because of staff? That doesn't seem right.
What about the guy getting sick at the last minute?
He's the one creating a delay.
Plus, delay usually vary between 7 and 15% (depending on lack of slots in both airports, time of the year, etc.). So the delay due to the personnel is just ridiculous.
But just accept that when you have a company with around 100K employees, you can't get everything right all the time.
