Title: Turn Around Times?
Post by: RisteMakedonski on April 17, 2009, 08:04:59 PM
After your a/c is back from an A-B-A route and lands at your home base, how much time should there be between that and the next flight you schedule?

at least the same time that it takes for your aircraft to have the ~1% chance of delay at the place where you are flying to. don't use the minimum time, because this will bring you in trouble in no time

Ok thanks, I have a 767 that has a 1% turnaround time of 2:15 and was wondering if I was wasting time in between flights.  ;)

Also before anyone mentions it .. yes, the times are quite long. But that's "on the list" to be adjusted later on.

I remember Sami saying sometime that the hub turn-around has higher probability of delay than at out-stations -thus longer turnaround needed for same delay change. I imaging I'm seeing this happening in the game.

If the turnaround system is tweaked I would like to see logarithmic delay chance change.
