Title: Avoiding weather cancellations
Post by: SloLo on June 19, 2018, 04:05:17 PM
As I'm gradually adding routes to my airline, I find myself comparing two routes with similar demand/distance/profit potential not considering weather. If one airport IRL is far more prone to weather cancellations, does that hold true in the sim in anyone's experience? For example, I'm comparing SAN-COS-SAN to SAN-ELP-SAN. It is basically a dead heat in comparison. However, ELP would have more reliable weather IRL.

I did read a forum post that the sim weather reflects the real world. For example, opening a headquarters airport in Alaska, you need expect more weather cancellations, than in Florida .
