Post by: Sami on January 28, 2018, 09:32:26 PM
Regional Challenge scenario will open on Wednesday January 31st

The Regional Challenge is part of our "mini-game" series, meaning a shorter play duration and special settings. This game world lets you take command of a commuter airline flying short routes around the world. Cargo model with the new City Based Demand for its calculations is naturally included.

You can already pre-join (https://www.airwaysim.com/game/?gView=259#game259) this upcoming game world. Go to the Game Area (https://www.airwaysim.com/game/?gView=259#game259) and you will find this new game waiting for you there. With the pre-joining function you can reserve a spot in this new game and we will e-mail you to remind of the game world's opening. This scenario will open on the evening of Wednesday, at approximately 18.00 UTC.

This Challenge theme game will use custom settings:

(nb. Hopefully we'll have time to add a bit more small cargo aircraft before the launch of this scenario)

Cargo with City Based Demand system included [...] but there is no longhaul air travel or cargo demand

I am not getting this part. Other than that very much looking forward to it!

Im pretty sure it means no LH pax or LH cargo demand.

No one wants too see how far they can push a C-208B CargoMaster... hey... that's not in the game yet   ;)

Oh right, it's an "and" and no "or". My bad.
