So if you're running say 4 or 5 flights a day on a route should you keep the fares the same for each flight or do you adjust the fares on each flight? Thoughts??
Has the demand algorithm become sensitive to time of day (other than the 2300-0600 time frame)?
It is, but not enough to make any difference. What makes the difference, though, is when you have less than 1 hour between two flights(though very high demand routes are reducing this minimum).
It happened to me to make different pricing for planes taking off at 0500, but I don't any more. Too much hassle, better lose 20 or 40 pax. If you are deep into micromanagement, though, you could even set up a different price for each day of the week. I won't advise this, though. Too much work, too little reward. Micromanaging prices by destination is already a lot of work.
