I have a delivery of new aircraft coming up and as part of that I was considering completely redoing some of my routes. The the moment I have small aircraft flying multiple times a day to the same destination and will be replacing them with larger aircraft. The big change I want to make is that currently fly 7 day 7 aircraft routes but I currently assign 6 days as 1 route to 1 aircraft and 1 day to one aircraft. This leads to a certain amount of inefficiency and I initially did it to make managing prices more manageable. Since I realised I could set prices via the destination view I want to change to making these routes as a separate route each day and manage my prices in destination view.
My question is, if I delete all instances of a route does the game continue to track route reputation in the background, so that when I remake the route it will start with the reputation it previously had minus the decay over time or does deleting all instances of a route wipe the reputation and I'd have to start again from 0?
If route is not flown the RI starts to go down towards zero slowly. But it is removed only after some time it is at zero (or last flown a very long time ago).
So - no, it is not immediately deleted.
