Where do the fees go that we pay to our alliance? Do the original managing members keep this profit? If no one gets the money, why not lower the fees if the money just "disappears"?
No airline gets them. They cover the alliance management fees, staff, offices and alliance marketing.
i think the alliance gets a higher rating with a higher fee, which means that load factors improve a little more
