I have 6 planes that I lease for 312K a month at 72K a week, but total weekly leasing cost are 1.7 million. What am I missing?
Are you looking strictly at leasing costs or leasing costs + depreciation?
On a per plane basis, your weekly leasing cost is as follows:
Weeklycost = (Monthlycost/daysincurrentmonth) * 7 > This assumes that all days of the week in question are in the same month.
Are you looking at your Operating Expenses -> Leasing item or are you looking at Other -> Aircraft Lease Fees item?
Are you sure you're looking at the Weekly and not Monthly view?

I am looking at the weekly line item leasing cost on my income statement. The 6 planes lease for about 312K a month each and add up to about 1.8 million a month but as of now I get hit for 1.5 million a week.
