Depends.

If it is an order for a new aircraft and delivery is far away, it can be cancelled.

If it is new and you are too close to delivery, it cannot be cancelled.

If it is a lease order for a used aircraft, in cannot be cancelled.

Hello everyone,

I'm just in some trouble and this is related to this topic.
I have a recent new airline, operating locally with EMB120 and SAAB and I was doing great and fast in 3 days.
Everything is working as expected even if taking risk.

So, I bought a E170 on 300k $ / month but with fleet commonality costs and very low revenue with it it is killing me at this stage of game.
So I cannot sell or give back this plane and I'm blocked with it. If I store it, from what I understand I will pay lease of course, but every other costs will dissapear?
Is that correct?

Thanks,
Dominik

There is also a neglectible storage cost and that's it. You might also want to adjust the amount of staffing after adjustment. And you can give back your plane, but only after about 11% of the lease period you signed.

qunow answered your question. Still, I had a look at your company, and here are a few things that you might keep in mind, for this game or another one :

Bottom line : focus on your current excellent planes, fill everything you can with them, and even more, and don't dream for the best birds. Not yet. J928s are nearly as good as E190s, and clearly cheaper.

Ok,

Thank You for a great explanation and very good advice. I'm still new to AirwaySim.
But learning fast, even if making still some mistakes sometimes.
For the EPKT that's why I choosed EMB-120 and S2000,  for the little cost and good capacity for routes avaible.
At first I was afraid sending them on the routes already taken even if there was still some demand.
I am making good results and finally I'm out on a little positive balance acount at the end of the months.
Even with my 300k$ lost on lease for unused plane finally.

I like the great community, in-game everyone is competing vs each other but in forums people takes their time to explain and help others.
That's very nice.

100% agreed.  The more able competitors join our community, the more enjoyable it is for me.   Keep up the good work!
