Option 2: Credit Card (at our site)

Option 3: Other (please specify)

Question is: What are your preferred payment methods when aquiring Credits for AirwaySim's full games, once the game is eventually launched.
We have already a fully functional store to purchase the credits and currently it supports the PayPal system (where you can pay with your credit card or with money at your PayPal account). If there's a need for it, we'd be including a direct payment option into our site for credit cards (without having to tackle with the PP account), however for that we'd need a certain sales volume for it to be reasonable.
Please tell which you prefer, and if you have any other options in mind, feel free to suggest here. SMS payments with mobile phone have been suggested and investigated but unforunately they just cost too much, with the service providers taking 40-50% commissions and usually the setups fees for such schemes are also way too big for us (of course, if you are familiar with some reasonable priced service provider, I'd be happy to hear about that).
I'm saying other. The way we should get credits is by every time a bug/problem is found. Maybe that could be worth 10 credits for a major bug and 2 credits for a minor bug. This way we could get free credits and still pay for some of our own down the road.
Well, major bug discoveries are rewarded of course but there simply are no bugs in the system ;D At least at the moment... So better don't "count on those".
The point of this thread was to ask about what payment methods you guys are used to use and are comfortable to use when buying something off the net. So expand my knowledge on that, and that way perhaps find some new options for AWS too.
Credit card/Visa Electron or a normal finnish bank tranfer
givin my age lol I would always use a CC no need for paypal for me
international bank transaction
Through cell phone and text message somehow ;D
Text Message.
Text messaging would be great. ;)
I chose PayPal, because it's hard for a 15-year old to use a credit card >:(. I do have a PayPal-account and money on it too. ;)
Guys, the PayPal seems to have somekind of mobile payment system, are you familiar with that?

By looking into it: I think it's only a mobile interface for PayPal.
You can send and request money from your phone by txt messages etc. You can't add money to your account from your phone bill or pay stuff with your phone bill.
And it only works in USA, Canada, UK and Australia
Ah, darn.. OK.
We spoke about this before, I'd love to pay by phone cedit, but it's to expensive, but I would still prefer it, otherwise I need granted permision to use a card :-[
SMS or telephone would be easy and great.
International bank transfer, or what would be easiest for me is to stuff money in an envelope and send it to you!
Waerth
Paypal is definitely the preferred option for myself. Cause many website don't accept Solo cards :'(
Paypal is preferred otherwise Credit Card (Visa etc...)
I would like telephone or text messaging!
I'd prefer paypal, or credit card transaction.
International bank transfer would be nice.
But let's be honest, somebody wants to play when he pays, so that would make any form of fast and interactive/automatic payment the best options.
Nobody wants to wait ;-)
Two words: American Express. ;D
E-check might work, as might direct deposit. But the problem with direct deposit is that I have to wire the money over and we all know how banks love to tack on fees.
Sorry, Amex won't work. The cc processor will accept MC, Visa, Visa Electron (with the 'verified by visa' and 'securecode' additions), Amex would require a separate (expensive) deal with amex themselves.
But I suppose it works via PayPal. Echeck works too thru paypal I think but it is darn slow and takes days (?) to clear.
That VISA MAESTRO payment methods would be nice. About International bank transfer I thing that its quite expensive because of the fee.
I got a Citibank Mastercard debit card too, but I only use that at ATMs because I once was defrauded via my debit card and it took a month to get my money back so I'm very wary about using my debit card anywhere for any reason.
Seems to me also that AmEx has the best chargeback system in case of fraud.
