Title: How are C checks included on the income statement?
Post by: adrianj.randall on April 20, 2016, 12:18:14 PM
Hey,

I tried to search for this answer and couldn't find a clear answer. I understand that line maintenance is included on the income statement, but for example, if an annual C check is $1M, does that divided by 52 over each weekly income statement or is it a one-off charge once a year? Thanks.

C checks are expensed directly at the time they happen. (same for A and B)

D checks are different, those are counted into book value of the plane (ref.manual).
