I'm quite new to the game, and i have this question i wasn't able to find an exact answer for:
When scheduling A and B checks, do i need to take into account turn-around times before and after the check? Currently, i usually leave a turn-around margin after the flight and before the start of the check, but don't leave any after the check end and before next departure. Example: the flight arrives at 01:15, so i schedule the A check to start at 02:00 (45min turn-around for ATR72), and next departure is at 07:00 (with A check ending at 07:00). This way i didn't notice any extra amounts of delays for a 07:00 flight. But i wonder if anyone have a 100% confirmed info on that? Also, would it be ok to schedule an A check to start at 01:15 for the example above, with no turn-around margin both before and after the filght? Thanks.
Only after the flt arrives..
Ie. plane lands at 23.00, turnaround is 0030, you can start A/B at 23.30 earliest as pax must get out of the plane etc. If the check is ready at 04.30, the plane can dep at 04.30 too. (to simplify the system a bit the "turnaround" is there built to the maint. time)
So far maintenances cannot be delayed.
Thanks for the info.
