Can anyone tell me the rules regarding oversupply on routes?
For example, on the route PIT to ATL, the demand is 640 and the supply is 1101. A second example would be on the route PIT to ATL, the demand is 960 and the supply is 2210.
I was recently tagged for the Seoul to EWR route where I oversupplied a route. :( The demand was 220 and my supply was 242.
There must be specific rules for something like this and where can I find them?
Any help would greatly be appreciated. thank you :)
Check the demand vs supply on both ways for the route.
both were about the same. can you explain the game rules regarding oversupply? thanks
Hi All,
I am still trying to find out the rules about oversupply. Here is another example that makes no sense to me. On the route KCMH to KJFK, the demand is approximately 68 passengers per day. The supply is 250 passengers per day. Even more confusing, the two airlines on the route are flying planes that have more seats available on each airplane than the route has total demand for. I have attached screenshots to help make this clear.
No one airline can have 200% of the demand but two as you have show is fine, not very profitable but legitimate competition.
Thank you. :)
Thank you again. I went back and re-read the rules and saw this rule and it is very clear. I guess I just missed the rule the first time I read it. :)
