Has anyone found a daily break even point for a given aircraft type. Example - a small turbo prop/regional jet has to make $10,000 per day profit to cover additional costs like marketing, C/D checks, station personell ect.?
Just trying to determine the cost effectiveness of the smaller aircraft for given routes
Thatwould be impossible to find out as a generic rule as it will depend on fleet size, types on aircraft in fleet, marketing costs, salary costs etc. There are so many variables that it would be quite a complicated formula to work that out.
