For preparations of the airport capacity and slot allocation calculations I need some basic data about how much traffic airports can handle.
So please reply here and let me know of some general figures if you know the airports' capacity restrictions = how many landing and arriving aircraft the airport can handle in an hour. Please tell me the airport ICAO code + capacity movements per hour. Tell me also the source of the information..
The game itself will have an airport slot system that is time based naturally. As the flight departure time also affects flight demand (on shorthaul routes at least) then everyone wants to fly at the "prime time" - but in real life this is naturally not possible, and we will make a similar realistic slot system to this game too.
I need the data to build a calculation model for the number of allowed movements for each airport. The capacity will be a calculated figure, as getting the data from all airports around the world is too hard. The system will take into account the runway number at airport and also their approach facilities and other things. It will not be 100% exact to realworld figures for some particular airport as there are so many kind of airports in the world and in some cases runway is not the only limiting factor - but for the scope of the game, I guess it will be good enough to do the job. ;D

If you post the way how the data you need to be formatted so its easyly to read for your program then the people on the forum can help you to fill the database save's you loads of time and effort capice ::)
example:
airportname; code; coordinates; number of runways; lenght;peaktimes;number off aircrafts per hour;ect;ect
Ah yes you meant that.. That's posted ages ago ;D See here: https://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,13.0.html
I also added the capacity info there, though still planning to use the calculation model for that. And we actually have already a rather good coverage of roughly 1500 airports in the db with all the pax data. (thanks to you all for the help so far!)
