Will their be another regional challenge or another shorter game scenario soon?
Yes, was actually about to post news of it in the next few days.
But you can still throw in wishes for the era/region/settings etc.
Whole world, very large aircraft only.
America's Challenge - North and South America and some challenging economics!
size 4+ airport as base only, unlimited slots
1930's era multistop allowances with extra demand. no war programmed (i know its not but still)
Want to rebuild a colonial airline with a 9 stop route from London to Bombay ;)
game world that goes to 2040 with more supersonic prototypes...any new game world to spend more money on
1930 - 1950 Era
Those wonderful props need some more loving and as the game spanning is only 20 years, there shouldn't be the great need for any large fleet replacement
it could be a region only scenario, but i like the aspect of doing tech stop routes by flying to the whole world. it's a completely different way of scheduling your AC than what we are used to in mordern times
Not sure what would happen if my DC3 takes 9 days to cross the world ... how does that fit on the scheduling screen ;)
Something in Europe or US with twice the demand as usual and with anything over medium banned. Also only start at class 4 or lower airports.
You wanted a challenge....
Pre-1950s has not been really modelled.. Missing airports, aircraft and all other data too.
But we could do a (about) 1945 start, and from there a few decades onwards.
would be nice :)
Another Regional challenge would be nice or another slightly constricting game where it gets a bit more exciting. :)
Will there be any city based demand / connections features in the foreseeable future? Network planning gotta be my most burning desire in this game.
Whole world starting in 2010. Size 5 airports only with unlimited slots.
Concorde and Tu-144 only game.

^^This I would join in a heartbeat
A game starting in 2015 and going to say 2050 with current aircraft on the market and supersonic prototypes
Nice, but Some lines must be opende up for those who want to play with smaller turboprops.
Is there any more information on what the game will be/ start date real time.
Here's the info: https://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,60478.msg349024.html#new
Early Days game is now open! https://www.airwaysim.com/forum/index.php/topic,60511.0.html
The next mini-game in the queue will eventually be a "large plane only" game (modern era), where one can only fly planes of the very large size class (tell me a name for it? ;) ). Since we've already had a regional challenge previously.
Big Bertha
How to go bankrupt in 90 days or less
The Spruce Goose
And you thought Airport Slots were hard to come by before
The no production slot game
Airbus Vs Boeing
The People Still will complain about the 4th fleet game
....this is easy to come up wit names...
The Titanic Game
The Fuel Guzzler
The Ozone Killer
Good luck with 40-60 Pax Routes, wait B767 all first class all the time
This will be fun game
Race to London!
What do you mean SAAB just came out with the SAAB-2000XXX - 275pax, fastest turbo prop on the market!
(ok that name is a little long, but if this were to happen in real life...think of all the crappy very large turbo-props that would hit the market to try and compete with bowing and airbus)
New Feature Game: Government Bail-out option
What do you mean I cannot order the Antonov-225 game?
----Ok I am done, I ran out of ideas, in all honesty this sounds like a fun game and I hope it starts soon. If I sounded negative I was just trying to be funny....I really can't wait to stack a 767 will premium economy to fly the lower pack routes...The central banks should be a little more relaxed on this game for sure though
I really like how on the Early days Game world you can create a base anywhere, and not just limited to 1 country...Will that option be in future worlds?

Sami would have to do a little different modeling to make that work, I think.
If you look at flight schedules from the mid-40's thru the mid 60's (and even into the late 70's in some areas) "Whistle-stopping" was the norm. An Atlanta-Dallas flight might make 3-5 or (or even more), picking and dropping pax along the way.
Pan Am's 4 stopper down west Africa, that run until the early 80's comes to mind, Hughes Airwest's Pacific Coast runs, TWA's 727 MCI-STL-IND-CVG-CMH-DCA, or Southern routing DC-9-10's ATL-MCN-MGM-BHM-JAN-MSY-DFW comes to mind.
Another interesting feature might be to add the "Fifth-Freedom" hubs that US Carriers had overseas, ln Manilla (Northwest Orient), Seoul, (Northwest Orient), Berlin (Pan Am) and Tokyo (Northwest Orient, Pan Am), until Deregulation hit in the early 80's. Same for the Brit's in Hong Kong, Singapore, Jamaica and the like. Could be fun to play, especially knowing that as the 80's approach, those hubs will be closed by force. They could fly from those to other countries, but not domestic.
would like to see a gw that start 2010 and ends 2030/2040
no restrictions
