Hey!

Does the departure and/or arrival time somehow infulence the average load factor?

Yes (or not to the load factor, but to the number of passengers flying...): https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Manual/Routes/Open/#Basic

Yes it does. Optimal loads can only be achieved on departures between 0600-2255. There is a slight penalty from 0500-0555 and 2300-2355, and a significant penalty from 0000-0455.

I always though it was 23:05 to 4:55 to be avoided if possible

not between 23:00 hrs to 05:55 hrs

Route demand has a little to do with it too. If several thousand pax per day want to fly the route, you can probably get decent loads on a 50-100 seater at 0230. But this is only possible on the highest-demand routes.
