The next main game scenario of AirwaySim will begin in less than two weeks. The next Game World #1 is set to open on Friday December 19th, at approximately 18.00 UTC (1pm @ NYC, 6pm @ London, 3am @ Tokyo).
This game world will start again from year 1960 and will continue all the way to year 2030.
This scenario, like all the other full/long games, will have all the latest AWS features available together with the full selection of aircraft models, including the prototypes allowing you to create an alternate history.

Will we ever see full worlds that run at mid length, perhaps starting in the early 80s?

What is meant by use of prototypes to create an alternate reality? I plan to use the planes of the times...does that mean my B707 will going against others using B777?
No, it just means that the 777X and so on will be available in their respective time.
