Hi, how much minutes of flight time difference (between props and jets) starts to affect the willing of passagers to fly the one that is faster?
There is no hard coded and known limit. Rule of thumb is about 120 minutes but that depends on other things, too, especially if there's a slow jet/fast prop.
Soo basically a 1 hour.. 1 hour and half difference is totally ok? ???
Yes, it's ok to fly 1:30hrs with a prop.
Hmm i think i explained my self wrong. Lets say me and my opponent are flying the same route. he does the route in 2 hours and i do it in 3 hours.. 3 hours and half, people would still fly with me as much as would they fly with him (imagine a unrealistic exact same situation for the example.)
I mean, not flight time but actually difference between flight times. I say this because i understand that the takeoff, cruise and approach affects the total travel time. making props useful in short range routes.
In most circumstance you won't notice a difference that makes the prop extremely worse.
