Title: Tutorial videos?
Post by: Curse on April 23, 2014, 12:58:57 AM
Do you guys think tutorial videos would be a good addition?

Besides the basic things (how to create a route) I would do more advanced ones (how to make a 7-day-schedule? / how to copy this schedule fast? / how to transit fast from one aircraft group to another?) etc.

Downside is, I don't intend to hurt people with my English, so the videos would be without voice explanation. Maybe I could insert texts.

Platform for this would be youtube I guess.

Personally I hate tutorial videos. To watch a screencast takes 2 to 3 times as much as reading the corresponding written explanation. I do like the topics you plan to cover, though.

mm. Good idea, I think.

It could be done with text (sometime understanding spoken english is tough), but as Alberto is telling I think they should be followed by written instructions

I agree with Alberto. A detailed written tutorial with some images Is much quicker To follow in my opinion.

I'm not sure how I could do such a written explanation to make it easy understandable. Will have to look into that the next days.
