Title: aaahhhhh.. oversupply warning??
Post by: meiru on April 21, 2014, 11:33:23 PM
problems in Italy -> 40% less pax -> oversupply warning... do I really have to modify all those... routes if I don't want to lose them? ... do you know how much of work this is? ... and do you know how much work it is to create them again in case I would lose them? ... and what it costs?? ... I've to say, this game transforms more and more into a huge workload and not much fun... sorry...

Especially if those routes are a part of 7 day schedules....7 modifications per route...arggghhhhhh
I agree it is becoming very time consuming, I will have to quit my job soon as I don't have time for job and AWS.

Events should not trigger the oversupply warnings naturally, like described in the announcements.....

If there is an active event and you are sure the warnings come from that pls post a bug report instead. (though I may have time to check it in a few moments soon)

edit; nevermind with the bug report, I am checking it now. Actually it works correctly that during the event the warning does not trigger. But in this case since the demand does not immediately pop back up (ie. it's not a sudden demand event) the oversupply triggers when the event itself has ended but demand has not yet risen back. Which of course isn't correct ... takes a moment to adjust it.

edit2; should be ok now for this and any future events also. As mentioned the problem was not in the events module itself, but when the event ended the system didn't understand it properly. Also the oversupply warnings have been reseted for GW#4, so you won't be getting the "it's now ok" message.

Except this isn't the bug report forum.  I'm issuing this thread being posted in the wrong forum as a bug... :)

This thread bugs me enough that an [ok] is warranted  ;D

Is the demand back at normal?

Actually the event should not be a fading one, but with drastic change. If sami hasn't changed this himself I'll fix it for the overworked list. Seeing the events live is interesting and gives ideas about what is good and what is maybe a bit too harsh or not enough harsh.

For example I would love a bird flu event with 6 month and -70% demand.  - haha, just kidding....

So Sami, does that mean I can ignore the 10 warnings I have in GW3 on routes that never got a warning pre bird flu?

<Edit>

All warnings gone, no routes closed, but no "its ok" message in inbox so I assume this was disabled for GW3 as well!
