Title: Pakistan's Seperation
Post by: Master on February 23, 2014, 09:19:18 PM
Dear All,

I'm playing in Game World #4 & now it is 1956 over there.

As far as I know Pakistan will seperate by 1971, as Pakistan (East side of India) & Bangladesh (West side of India)...

Now the question is, if I will have a base in Dhaka Zia before 1971 then what will happen after the seperation?

PS. We have discussed this issue in our own game forum, but could not come to an agreement.

Best regards,
Tim

I think you will have to close it. General rule  is no base outside own country.

Let's talk about this based on business point of view
Case 1: You got Dhaka Zia to post separation, good for you
Case 2: You got it snatched back to Bangladesh, not so good, but still you will have 15 years of operation at the airport. It's way more than enough to pay for your investment. The only drawback is you will need some effort to re-locate your A/C after the take over

It's worth it for the money while you still have over a decade. I thought you usually get to keep such bases as long as they stay open but people are saying otherwise. I didn't see that happen last time I was playing in the USSR so I don't really know. Either way I get over thirty years right now if I open any bases in Russia.

I remember seeing the same with yugoslavia. Bases in different capitals but after separation still active
