I was wondering if we have a date for when a new game world is going to start? Preferably one that would run for about one year.

I would also love to start in a new one. However there are many open worlds which are far away from ending yet.... :-\
I suspect there won't be a new world until the accounting changes are rolled out and all the bugs have been fixed. so probably at least 3-4 weeks.
Yes, as per what he said. The conversion to the new accounting system takes a bit of thinking so wouldn't like to launch a new game before it's done.
