I am sure all of us at one point or another bought/leased a used aircraft and accidentally had it shipped to the default HQ airport, when actually intended to have it go to another base.
The delivery airport should be able to be changed up until a day or two before delivery so that I can schedule the routes on this newly acquired aircraft. It is simply a delivery location.
Even if a fee is charged, it should be an option at least.
Side request: The ability to change the default airport for delivery of newly acquired aircraft? Similar to the ability to change default turn-around times in settings.

Temporary solution:
Take the same A/C type at HQ and move its schedule to the incoming A/C, then rebase the A/C to the other base for new schedule
Drawback: you'd lose the profit of the HQ routes, as the newly add routes at base have low RI, thus low revenue
Thats what I have done when I know I cant be on something like 12 hours later, but as you stated, you will have low LF due to low RI.
In this particular case however it was a different aircraft type (One hub had md-80s and the other 737's), so it didn't help there.
Is this possible to have added?
+1 for this request, its infuriating, I know its my own fault but I suspect I send well over half my new orders to the wrong airport!
Surely it would be a easy add and remove a whole world of frustration.
+1 from me too. I keep making this mistake over and over (forgetting to change the destination airport).
+1 also. Of course it should be paying, and maybe more if the delivery approaches, but until the day before delivery, you should be able to change your mind. It's a vehicle, after all. It can go where the pilot wants, and we pay the pilot...
It's especially annoying for used craft. You buy, you forgot to change the destination, and BLAM! in 8 hours of real time you have to be connected to airwaysim instead of your foecasted activities(work, sleep, sport...whatever), or lose a lot of money(not the cost, but the income of the plane for the time without flying, that's even worse).
+1 - When I get notice of a delivery then the cut-off for a change of airport should be available for a week. Plenty of time for delivery flight planning and delivery crew retrieval to their base.
