Has anyone been experiencing bad yields and terribly LFs (45-25%) on the way out and near 100% Loads and superb yields on the way back?
I have noticed this quite frequently on routes from my hub Algiers to cities in Europe..... like Budapest, Cologne, Stockholm, etc. (So not the very major ones or the ones with heavy competition)....
I dont really have a problem with it and maybe it will right itself to 100%-100% ;D :D eventually.
I took a quick look on routes Algiers-Stockholm and Algiers-Budapest, and the situation is what I expected. There's a much bigger demand for flying to Algiers than out. Like from Stockholm, the daily demand is 500-600 passengers but to Stockholm it's max 200 pax. I don't know why this is, but for example Barcelona has this kind of routes to places like Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Lagos, the exception being that more peolple want to fly out of BCN than to BCN.
It was just posted to bug reports, and it may be because the destination is on another continent and it counts some variable wrong there...
The pax demands shouldn't be exactly the same but if it's 500 other way and 150 back then it's a bit off...
THats what I was thinking.... I wasnt sure it was a bug because I have previously seen routes where its like 230 on the way out and 280 on the way back... pretty small differnece, but 100 pax on the way out to 400 on the way in is really strange! :laugh:

For some weird reason, I get 80-90% both ways on flights from LCY

It doesnt seem to have a big difference flying from major cities, like PAris, London, FRA, MAD, FCO.... but smaller than that it seems to really change :laugh:
I have similar figures flying from Washington to Brasil.
Outbound 200 pax, return 100 pax.

That isnt as major... but none the less that isnt the case in reality.
