How's the slot situation looking in games 1 and 2 at the moment? ...at bigger airports mainly that is.
Hi Sami. At least at JFK it looks fairly good here in game 2. A couple of tight times, early morning and evening but that's expected. I have a question, does capacity increase a little over time? Many airports expand over a time as long as 13 years so I was wondering if this was the case.

Yes as ATC systems get better and so on ... new runways and such are not modeled, it's the 2005 situation on those.
Purple hours 05-13 and 15-17 in Barcelona, game 2.
Well at DFW its getting complicated having a flight out from 06h00 to 08h00 and from 15h00 to 16h00, otherwise its still ok...
Sami, Game 2, apt: MUC. Slots between roughly 5-10 are all taken, so are almost all slots between 17-18. The lack of slots is becoming a limit to growth. Is there any option to insert a trading mechanism into the game, so airlines can trade off slots for money??
At ZRH there are no slots left between 0600 and 0800, all other times have plenty.
Trying to get slots at LHR in game 2 is a pain in the ass. Most hours have less than 10 slots available.
Between 0600-1000 in game one at heathrow, the slots are like gold dust.
