Title: Buy More Credits?
Post by: Karl on July 01, 2013, 11:54:54 PM
Hi!

Is there something wrong with the site's ability to sell more credits, or what am I missing?

I have bought more credits before, but now, when I go to "My Account" and click "buy" in the box or from the link at the bottom of the page, I get taken to the Home Page.  I cannot find a buy option there.

What am I doing wrong?

It works just fine for me?

It should go to https://www.airwaysim.com/Profile/Credits/

You sure you're looking at the correct airline sim?  Let me know if you are still having trouble.

I could not buy more credits using IE10.  Eventually, I was successful using Firefox.

Using IE 10, I was always redirected to the AirwaySim home page - even when I copied and pasted the correct url.  It must be a setting that is wrong, but I have made many purchases using IE10.

Anyway...the game continues.  Thanks.   :)

Tested with Win7 + IE10 and that too works just fine. (?)

Hi!

We met at AI CLE.

To answer your question:  I don't think so.  I usually pay for Sim credits by credit card, although I recently used Pay Pal to pay for AI CLE.

If I am the only one using IE10 and having a problem, it is obviously something wrong with my set up.  (By the way, COMCAST is my internet provider, and I cannot download Chrome!)  Who knows?!

IE10 has been a constant headache at work, we have problems with nearly every website in existence in IE10. Personally, I recommend rolling back to IE9 if at all possible, it's what I've had to do with all our users at the office. If that's not possible, change your Compatibility View settings (Tools -> Compatibility View Settings -> Display all websites in Compatibility View).

Display all websites in Compatibility View

I don't recommend this as it seems to use some strange IE7 mode and new AWS won't work properly with that.
