How is the flight (or block) time calculated?
I'm flying Marseille- Montpellier which is 55 NM with a Twin Otter (150knot TAS) and it takes me over an hour?!?!
The time is from the moment the door closes at the gate to arriaval at the other gate, the most part of that trip is probably taxiing and landing.
I checked this myself and it's one hour ten minutes. I understand what firejet is saying, but these are both regional airports and taxing should take no more than about 5 minutes each side. So 1 hour in the air on 55nm route? Have to see what Sami says.
