Title: Just came back from a loooooong break

And I have this question.

Is the small regional jets such as Embraer ERJ145, Bombardier CRJ200 and Mitsubishi MRJ still dull to make profits?

If under competition...yes they are dull. 

If no competition, then you might be able to do something with them.

If you want to run a true Regional Operation, yes they will turn a profit.

Problem is that most players that complain they can not run a profitable Regional Airline is because they are also operating from a class 5 or 4 airport.....and then are surprised that the demand gets absorbed by the bigger boys.

You are able to fly any aircraft model into success, you only have to do it right.There“s always a time and place for every bird, you just have to find out both. There have been various experiments to proof profitability of little aircrafts and they were successful.
