Hi all does anyone know the best way to determine overall operating profit for an individual aeroplane because you have the expected weekly profit based on previous day income and then minus route fees a+b maintaince etc.. which gives you a number for profit of that aircraft in the my aircraft section when you look at an individual aircraft but then we also have in the fleet commonality section other costs asscotiated with aircraft/engine types. is this seperate or inc. in profit section of my aircraft? just wondering so i can make proper judgements on plane viabilitys.
thanks mike
I was using someone else's rule of thumb.
You MUST have your small aircraft earning $10,000 per day for them to be profitable.
I have a small fleet of Fokker 50s and I make sure that all of them make me 70,000 or more per week.
