Title: Unexplainable difference between Ticket Income and Ticket prices x seats
Post by: BizFlyer on January 02, 2013, 02:49:48 PM
Happy New Year to all.

I just had a difference that I cannot explain in the "Route information"-window.

135 seats x 154 $ = 20790 $. However, under Ticket Income the sum is given as 20856 $. Difference in my favour of 66 $
143 seats x 154 $ = 22022 $. However, under Ticket Income the sum is given as 21978 $. Difference against my favour of 44 $.

Net difference in my fabour: 22 $ I can only assume this to be in my favour, as i do not know, which figures are actually used for the calulation of the total income, which shows in the income statement.

For further clarification of what i mean I have attached a print-screen of the relevant page.

Can somebody explain?

Best regards,

BizFlyer

Data is 7 day average.

Actual values per day are lower at that page.

There's also a 'view expanded statistics' button in the bottom right, you can see exactly how many seats you sold on each day.

Thanks Sanabas, I will have to go into the details then. But the answer about the 7-day average was already good for me.
